Feel comfortable working on your own without direct supervision Be able to lift a 50 lb bag of flour or sugar No decorating or baking experience is necessary, but experience in a retail environment, at another bakery, or as a home baker is helpful. Since we are a small staff, everyone (including the owner) helps with dishes, cleaning, and other dirty work. There is opportunity to learn new skills (baking and beyond baking), and every staff person has the chance to create their own signature cupcake flavors. We also provide paid training, paid lunch breaks, sick time, and some paid holidays.

The starting wage is $17/hr plus tips (an additional $2-4 per hour). Assisting customers at the front counter and on the phone. Regular set schedule with specific times TBD Tuesday-Friday, plus every other weekend. The focus being on cupcake decorating, customer service, and cleaning, though you will have the opportunity to learn baking and other skills. This is a 15-30 hour per week job, with additional shifts as needed.
